Event at the European Parliament on bullying and discrimination in schools

On 16 December, ILGA-Europe held an event at the European Parliament in Strasbourg on the role of the EU and the Council of Europe in tackling bullying and discrimination in schools.

Conference on tackling homophobic and transphobic school bullying, 10-11 June 2014

On 10-11 June, in Athens, ILGA-Europe organised jointly with the Greek organisation, the Smile of the Child a conference on tackling homophobic and transphobic school bullying, partly held under the auspices of the Greek Presidency of the EU.

Capacity-building seminar on using a norm-critical approach in education

ILGA-Europe and IGLYO (International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Youth and Student Organisation) co-organised a seminar on the use on norm-critical approach in education in Stockholm from 4 to 6 April 2014.

Capacity building seminar on education, Brussels, 6-7 December 2013

Between the 6-7 December 2013, IGLYO and ILGA-Europe jointly facilitated a workshop on Education for 9 activists from 9 European countries. The workshop was the first of its kind for ILGA-Europe in our work on Education.

Conference: Tackling homophobic and transphobic bullying in school - the role of teachers, school leaders, NGOs and policy maker

On 20 February 2013, ILGA-Europe in association with the Irish EU Presidency hosted the first ever EU level conference addressing homophobic and transphobic bullying in schools.
