Human rights violations documentation training, Lisbon, 6-8 September 2013

On 6-8 September 2013, ILGA-Europe organised a training on human rights violations documentation in Lisbon for LGBTI activists from Armenia, Georgia, FYR Macedonia, Greece, Portugal and Russia.

During the training the activists have learned the main principles and methods of monitoring and documentation of human rights violations and how to strategically align it with their advocacy work. Furthermore, they were guided through practical exercises to develop their organisational documentation and advocacy plans. The training was interactive and included a good practice sharing on documentation and advocacy work by ILGA-Portugal.
