Athens 2015

This year’s Annual Conference takes place in Athens between 28 and 31 October 2015.

The theme for the Annual Conference 2015 is Many Voices, One Movement – Together, mobilized for a just society.

The ILGA-Europe team is currently developing the programme, more information will become available soon. Registration for the conference is expected to open in May.

The conference will open with a welcome dinner on Wednesday evening 28th of October and close with a Party on the evening of Saturday the 31st of October. This means that arrivals are foreseen on Wednesday and departures on Sunday. Note, booking your flight to Athens early might save you costs!

Please also note that this year’s host committee is planning to organise a beach brunch on Sunday afternoon the 1st of November. Whilst the brunch is not formally part of the conference programme, we encourage people to join the brunch to have a relax afternoon under the Greek sun. Busses to the airport depart from close to where the brunch will take place. You could consider taking a late afternoon / evening flight, or of course decide to spend a few extra days in the city of Athens (at your own expense).

This year, the local team of organisers consists of OLKE in colaboration with SYD, Trans Gender Association, Queer Trans, Rainbow Families, Athens Pride, Thessaloniki Pride, Praksis, Positive Voice and Volunteers of 2004 Athens Olympic Games.

Looking forward to seeing you in Athens this October, meanwhile enjoy this video from Annual Conference 2014 in Riga
